Betsey does it again!!! My new dress. Outfit post coming soon!
In this outfit post I decided to snap photos with a different backdrop other than my usual “outdoor sundeck” backdrop haha! I thought it’ll be fun to snap pics in a different space in my building. What a better spot to take pics other than the laundry room!?! I’m wearing a cute white draped mesh dress from Nasty Gal during their secret sale for only $13.00!!! AH-MAZING price…a dollah make me hollah honey boo boo child! Unfortunately the secret sale has ended and the dress is now $33.00. There are still plenty other fab dresses for under $30 in their sale section!
I’m also wearing a minnie mouse headband from the Disney store, eyeglasses are from Urban Outfitters, studded bracelet from Buffalo Exchange, and shoes by Jeffrey Campbell. I hope you have enjoyed this post as much as I had creating it! It’s now one of my favorites
I hope you had an awesome weekend! xo

Last week was H&M’s release of their “Conscious Collection“. The sustainable collection consists of a Conscious Collection and an Exclusive Conscious Collection. The Exclusive Collection has red carpet ready pieces crafted from sustainable materials. Some of the pieces have already been worn by celebrities on the red carpet prior to the release! I had my eyes on this neon green dress (pictured above) from the Exclusive collection and the blush pink eyelet dress (I will do a post about the blush pink dress later this week) from the H&M Conscious Collection.
The neon green dress was modified and originally worn by Kristina Davis aka Charlotte
Did anyone else shop the collection?

I’d like to welcome all the new followers to Spikes & Sequins! There has been quite a few new adds on Facebook, followers on Twitter and Instagram! Thank you so much to all the followers! This blog wouldn’t be what it is without readers like you! It makes my day when I get stopped in the street by readers of the blog or receive comments on the blog!
PLEASE READ——–> Speaking of comments just so you know technology has come a long way and now with the internet anytime a reader leaves a comment on the blog I have the ability to track exactly who you are, what city you are in and even the internet browser you used to leave the comment due to your IP addresses. So the readers who leave anonymous comments I still know who you are! So don’t be shy. Please leave your name because I’ll know who you are anyways thanks to technology. Crazy right!?! Make sure you leave comments that your Mama can be proud of because you really aren’t that anonymous when you leave comments anywhere on this worldwide web. This is how I was able to find out Spikes and Sequins gained readers in Brazil! How amazing is that!?! I can’t wait to visit Brazil! Thank you for following!
I do this blog for fun to document my world so when I get positive feedback that I have helped someone or inspired them in anyway it makes me feel so good!!! This is only the beginning there is a lot of greatness to come!
THANK YOU!

In this last picture it got just a little too windy haha! I definitely gave whoever was looking a treat! Opps!
In this post I’m wearing my 2nd purchase from the television show Fashion Star! This dress is the winning dress by Sarah Parrott for H&M from episode 3! Again, this style sold out within minutes online after the show aired so I stopped into H&M the following day to check it out! I’ll admit I was a bit disappointed when I saw the color because on the show the colors for this dress were much brighter but I did like the mesh back and draping of the dress so I decided to give it a try! When I tried it on I was quite pleased. I can picture wearing it to a formal dressy occasion or wearing it casually on the beach! This dress is very versatile so I didn’t mind the color anymore
The price wasn’t bad either. It sold for $29.95! In this look I paired the dress with hidden platform pumps and tassel earrings also an H&M find!
I can’t wait to see the designs tonight! It seems like H&M adores Sarah Parrott’s designs and so do I! Fashion Star airs tonight at 10PM on NBC!
