April 21, 2011 – New York, NY – Jeffrey Campbell Shoes is proud to present our latest capsule collection, OH BOY, which features three of the brand’s most coveted women’s styles in men’s sizes.  The Glitter Lita, Areas, and Switchblade will soon be available to the public through Jeffrey Campbell retailers including Solestruck, OAK, I Don’t Like Mondays and Trash and Vaudeville.”-JC

Here are a few of my favorite pics from the “Oh Boy” lookbook…

WORK!

“In preparation for the launch, Bridgette Bayley and Conor Riley from the Jeffrey Campbell team in New York City organized a video shoot with the Future Machine, a production company based in Boston, MA.

Through Twitter and Facebook postings, we were able to recruit real-life “JC Girls” (fans of the line) to participate as extras in the shoot.<—– I’m very sad I missed out on this! 😦  The video series stars Ernesto Morales as a young man who can’t seem to get a pair of Glitter Litas down from the above telephone wires, and enlists the help of the gathering crowd of JC Girls to retrieve them. The videos launched via Twitter and Facebook in a three-part teaser video series in mid-April. The final installment includes the reveal that the shoes were in fact meant for the “JC Boy.

To accompany the video, Bayley and Riley styled and shot a look-book in early April in the East Village neighborhood of New York, New York. Morales was again the subject, and modeled two of the three styles that will be available under the OH BOY name in a lifestyle editorial.“-JC

I love watching these. It’s like watching a minimovie 🙂

Any video featuring one of my favorite shoes (Lita) is a must see in my book!
