One of my favorite times of the year begins today: NY Fashion Week! The shows will take place at Lincoln Center. Friday, September 10th is Fashion’s Night Out. This is a global initiative that started last year as a way to get customers excited about shopping again during the recession. This year there are a lot more stores participating, many of which are giving away free items or offering free services such as free makeovers or blowouts by well known hair stylists.
