This past week I was lucky enough to attend a concert by multi-talented recording artist/actor Drake!!! I owe a big THANK YOU to my Fairy Godmother for making this happen!!! You know who you are 😉 It was an amazing show! Drake is quite the entertainer and crowd pleaser. He is one of my favorite artists because you can relate to his lyrics. Drake has the talent to word and phrase feelings most of us wouldn’t know how to express. Many of you may recognize him as “Jimmy Brooks” from the hit television series Degrassi: The Next Generation or may have heard his music play on the airways! After his success of his mix tape So Far Gone, Drake became a member of Lil Wayne’s Young Money Entertainment. This year Drake released his first album, Thank Me Later, on Young Money Entertainment. Drake is definitely an artist with longevity and has reached many generations with his music. Drake is known for his clever rhymes, detailed stories, play on words and most appreciated by my Mom, is his CLARITY! . Haha My Mom is Drake’s #1 fan! She really likes that she can understand his songs and rock to his beats.

It was an awesome concert! I’m so happy I was able to attend. I’m looking forward to following Drake’s career and seeing what he does next! It can only get better from here. Please make sure you pick up a copy of Drake’s album Thank Me Later.
