Shown to Scale has been a force to reckon within the Williamsburg fashion world since we opened our shop doors in Brooklyn in 2010. Now Shown to Scale girls around the globe can order our stock directly from our website at www.ShownToScale.com. Shown to Scale is the brainchild of Silke Labson, who opened the store with two racks, a table and bare bones vintage stock. Despite a lack of formal training or a stitch of sewing experience, within a year Silke had designed and produced two in-house collections as Made New York. By the time we changed our name to Shown to Scale in 2011, we were a busy shop front, a branded clothing line and an e-commerce store. As a store and a label we have a fervent cult following. Our regular customers pop by every week to snap up our latest stock and they carry our emblazoned tote bags with pride.
