In this outfit post I’m wearing the winning dress from H&M by contestant/designer Sarah Parrott from the television show Fashion Star! Have you been watching the show? I’ll admit I had enough of reality television shows, especially any shows related to fashion but this show Fashion Star has a unique concept behind it that fuels my shopping passion!

The premise of the show is a group of contestants/fashion designers send just one garment per show down the runway then 3 buyers from H&M, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Macy’s choose if they want to make the designers an offer to buy the garment for their store. The designer with the highest bid wins the garment for their store and viewers could purchase the garment immediately after the show airs online or buy it in limited stores the next day!

When I saw this dress come down the runway I knew I had to have it! I love this dress because it is clean, modern and sophisticated! The color is gorgeous and vibrant! It is sure to make you stand out in the crowd. The cut out is placed perfectly so you could still wear a bra and HELLO it has pockets! A dress with pockets = SOLD! This aqua blue dress was sold out in 5 minutes online after the show aired. I was in disbelief!!! I decided to stop in H&M the next day to see if they would have it in stock. I got lucky and purchased the dress for only $19.95! Can you talk about a bahgain!? Did anyone else purchase the dress? By the end of the day all the dresses were sold out!
